Overview of Chi Chi
The Chi Chi clothing brand was originally founded in the UK in 1988 by Jamal Najar. Beginning as a design house and dress manufacturer, the company moved into the e-commerce realm in 2013 when Jamal’s sons, Gio and Daniel, launched Chi Chi London as a standalone company.
Taking advantage of the family’s supply and manufacturing contacts in China, Chi Chi has been able to create a line of distinctive, high-quality party and special event apparel for women while keeping prices low. The response from consumers was immediate, and the brand’s worldwide business has increased exponentially in less than a decade.
Chi Chi remains owned and operated by the Najar family, and maintains its global headquarters in London, England (as you would expect!).
Now that you’ve got some background on how this high-flying women’s fashion brand came to be, it’s time for this Chi Chi review to really get down to business. Let’s kick things off with a top-line look at some of the brand’s most notable highlights.

We all know you don’t wear white to a wedding, but there are all kinds of ways you can still subtly upstage the bride. If you’re looking to “innocently” draw eyes away from the altar, check out the Chi Chi Cape Detail Jumpsuit in Blue.
This remarkable design combines capri-style trousers with a deep but just-this-side-of-modest V-neck. The real standout, of course, is the cape detail hanging down from either shoulder, which you can wear over your arms to give the appearance of wide, floating sleeves, or toss back dramatically over your shoulders.
Available in sizes 6-16, the Cape Detail Jumpsuit (which also has a pink option, BTW) is priced at $130.

Chi Chi Bardot Ombre Pleated Midi Dress in Blue Review
The Chi Chi Bardot Ombre Pleated Midi Dress in Blue is a gorgeous example of classic summertime style. Starting with the sky-blue top, which sports a gorgeous fold-over neckline that wraps around the upper arms just below the shoulders, the dress cascades down to a fun-and-flirty white pleated skirt.
This would make for fabulous party attire, or even a dressy brunch on a bistro terrace. The Bardot Ombre Pleated Midi Dress in Blue is available in sizes 6 to 16, and is priced at $145.
Chi Chi One Shoulder Split Hem Maxi Dress in Champagne Review
Your bridesmaids have been by your side for all those months of wedding prep, so the least you can do is give them dresses that they won’t want to burn after the ceremony. When you gift your girls the dazzling Chi Chi One Shoulder Split Hem Maxi Dress in Champagne, you’ll be setting them up with an outfit they’ll be proud to parade down the aisle.
The one-shoulder top design and long slit up the skirt that hits at mid-thigh give this dress a contemporary, classily sexy vibe, and the layering/draping effect on the front creates visual interest all the way from bodice down to ankle. Also available in orange, navy, sky blue, and fuchsia, the One Shoulder Split Hem Maxi Dress is $167.
Chi Chi Ruffle Floral Print Bodycon Dress in Multi Review
The tight-fitting silhouette of bodycon dresses can really walk the narrow line between classy and trashy. The Chi Chi Ruffle Floral Print Bodycon Dress in Multi steers you safely toward the former by giving you the curve-flattering fit you covet while also diverting the eye with its busy ruffle shoulder detail and pretty floral pattern.
Sexy and flirty without giving it all away, the Ruffle Floral Print Bodycon Dress is also available in a blue-toned option. You can pick up either one for $145.

Chi Chi Reviews: What Do Customers Think?
The moment of truth has arrived: it’s time for this Chi Chi review to look into what real, honest-to-God customers have to say about this popular women’s apparel brand.
Unfortunately, the brand website itself does not include reviews, so we scoured the interwebs to dig up ratings on third-party sites. Here’s what we found.
On TrustPilot, Chi Chi has an overall rating of 3.7/5 stars based on 3,314 reviews, with nearly 60% of customers scoring the brand a full 5 stars. A common theme in the positive comments is how the brand’s dresses run both true to size and true to picture, and the efficiency of Chi Chi’s shipping.
“Quick delivery. The dresses are exactly as on the website and the colour is beautiful, perfect for a winter wedding. The bridesmaids will look stunning in them,” said one satisfied customer.
Of course, wedding wear is not the only thing that this brand has to offer. Chi Chi’s party and formal wear also get high marks from customers, as per this 5-star review from Reviews.io:
“I bought my daughters’ prom dress [from Chi Chi]. Extremely fast delivery and it was a perfect fit first time and the dress is stunning I would highly recommend everyone to this company”
The variety of sizes and styles is another selling point for buyers, as with this 5/5-star review on Feefo: “It came fast and was the perfect length. It’s perfect for my special small intimate registry wedding and doesn’t need to be altered which helps me as I am very petite.”
There were some negative reviews from customers who claimed that the items they received looked quite different from how they appeared on the website, as well as some complaints about poor customer service. But on the whole, this Chi Chi review found a majority positive opinion about this brand in the reviews we were able to track down.
Is Chi Chi Worth It?
After weighing customer feedback, pricing, and the styles of the dresses themselves, this Chi Chi review can say that this brand is definitely worth a try. There are some truly unique and eye-catching creations in this clothing line, and the affordable price points put them well in reach of a majority of potential customers.
Chi Chi would be particularly great for outfitting bridesmaids for their wedding duties, as it won’t put an undue financial burden on your best gals, and the attractive designs mean that they will be able to repurpose their dresses for special events in the future.
