Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Perfume Range Review
Many versions of Hugo Boss The Scent For Her are discontinued but I find many are still available at The Fragrance Shop in the UK and in the USA. Boss The Scent has some similarities to BOSS Alive which uses fruity notes to create a similarly warm fruity vibe (my article on the entire BOSS Alive perfume range).

Hugo Boss The Scent For Her is a Peach fragrance.
The fruity Peach note is complimented well by an Osmanthus fragrance note which is a slightly orangey white floral note.
I recommend this original Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Eau de Parfum for the day time, anytime of year. There are plenty of other versions of Boss The Scent, many are stronger and sexier but the original is the most fruity!
Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Intense
Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Intense is indeed more intense than the original. It keeps the Peach and Osmanthus notes but adds in Honey, Chocolate and Vanilla.
These notes make the Peach sweeter and sexier. I think it’s still appropriate for the daytime but could also be worn in the evening.
Personally, I prefer the Intense version because its a bit more interesting and stronger than the original Boss The Scent For Her. However, Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Intense is now discontinued, though it is still available here.
Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Parfum Edition
Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Parfum Edition is an unusual scent. The main notes are Peach and Cacao alongside Labdanum which can create an almost plastic feel to perfumes.
I’m not sure how successful Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Parfum Edition was, perhaps due to this plastic undertone.

Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Eau De Toilette
Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Eau De Toilette is a fresh, simple and light daytime scent.
Peach and Mandarin Orange create the fresh top note of the fragrance, alongside Orange Blossom and Osmanthus.
There is also a simple Freesia note in the heart which is a delicate feminine white floral scent.
Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Eau De Toilette is light hearted and ideal for humid weather. I also recommend it as a good office scent; its feminine while still be professional, a bit like Hugo Boss women’s clothing!
Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Private Accord
Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Private Accord is a chocolate orange fragrance.
Warm and sensual Tonka Bean and Osmanthus accompany the Chocolate and Orange notes to create a comforting autumnal scent.
Unfortunately, despite being an Eau de Parfum, Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Private Accord doesn’t last very long. It fades after an hour to become a subtle Chocolatey Osmanthus skin sent.
I recommend Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Private Accord for day time, anytime of the year. I don’t think it’s strong enough for evening but could work well combined with the heavier Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Le Parfum.
Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Absolute
Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Absolute is a sexy Vanilla scent.
The sweet Vanilla is accompanied by a hint of Honey and Peach, as well as coffee giving the scent a Black Opium feel (my article on the Black Opium perfume range).
As the name ‘Absolute’ indicated, this is a strong fragrance. I recommend Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Absolute for date night and evenings. The sweet and sexy Vanilla perfume note mean’s its not really appropriate for the daytime or professional occasions.

Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Pure Accord
Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Pure Accord is a fresh Osmanthus scent with a musky base.
I love Osmanthus (its the main note in one of my favourite perfumes Gucci Flora), its floral yet fresh and feels slightly orangey to me too.
In Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Pure Accord the Osmanthus is complimented by a fresh Bergamot top note which feels appropriate for a light Eau De Toilette like this.
I recommend Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Pure Accord for summer months and the day time, its pretty but light. I can image it would also be nice to layer over others in the range.
Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Le Parfum
2022’s Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Le Parfum is one of my favourite perfumes from Hugo Boss.
The scent has a strong Akigalawood note which is a synthetic creation that reminds me of Patchouli and soft woody notes. It’s amazing for lasting, and combined with the fact that this is a ‘Parfum’ (more concentrated than an Eau de Parfum) Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Le Parfum has great longevity and projection. You only need one or two sprays of this and it will see you through for many hours.
There isn’t really any of the fruity notes that feature in many of the other versions of Boss The Scent For Her. There is an Orange Blossom note which adds a slightly orangey floral vibe which keeps the scent femenine.
I recommend Hugo Boss The Scent For Her Le Parfum for winter months and evenings. It could be worn during the day but be aware that everyone will be able to smell it!
