Sundays was founded by four friends, all retail and design experts with young families.As parents, they knew what they wanted: furniture that would last, in terms of both design and durability. Pieces that were timeless and high-quality—as well as easily accessible. But as furniture industry insiders, they found an overwhelming number of choices, long lead times, and lack of consistency on the market. Why, they wondered, couldn’t someone bridge the gap between quality design and attainability? They knew, with their decades of experience and network of suppliers, they could do something about it. So they did. Starting by meeting every Sunday morning.

FAQ
How do returns work?
If something doesn’t work, you can return it for exchange or refund in new condition with original packing within 30 days of delivery. We charge a flat rate return shipping fee of $150 (or $75 for items that can be shipped via small parcel), which will be applied against your refund or exchange.
If you do not have the original packaging, a return re-packaging fee of $75 will be applied.
Which sofa size fits my need?
Generally, smaller sofas fit well in smaller spaces. We recommend measuring at least 2 feet for walkways. For smaller apartments, a loveseat or a smaller sofa such as the Stay A While 2.5 Seater are your best bet.
Can I order a swatch before purchasing a product?
Yes! We’re happy to send complimentary swatches of most of our fabric products. Get in touch with us to request a swatch. Your swatch will arrive via mail within 1-3 weeks.
Can I purchase slipcovers for my Movie Night™ sofa?
Yes you can! We have slipcovers available in both the regular size and the condo size.

Where are your products made?
Our product line is designed by our team in Vancouver, Canada. We work with factories in Asia and Europe to create modern pieces that work together in our curated collections.
How do you approach sustainability at Sundays?
We believe that true sustainability is the whole life-cycle of a product, so quality, natural materials, and multi-functionality are integral to our philosophy at Sundays. We truly believe in reducing our environmental footprint, through “fewer, better things,” quality furniture, and timeless design that stands the test of time.
Our product team works directly with our factory partners to identify opportunities for improvement, including replacing the use of styrofoam with sustainable packaging where possible with a goal of eliminating the use of styrofoam in our packaging, without impacting the integrity of the piece. As primarily a direct-to-consumer brand, we strive to reduce travel of our pieces before they arrive in our customers’ homes and offer a free swatch program to minimize additional travel for returns. Returned items are donated to local charities when possible. Internally, we continue to educate ourselves about further ways to contribute to a more sustainable future through our products and operations.
What kind of sofa is best for pet owners?
The best sofas for dogs that shed are leather. Cats are a little trickier as they can scratch the leather we recommend advising your cat not to scratch your sofa!
What kind of sofa is best for families with young children?
Looking for a sofa that fits the whole family during movie nights, can withstand kids jumping on it, and still look stylish? Check out our favourite family-friendly sofas below.
The Sunday Sectional is a solid choice, constructed from a solid wood frame with nozag springs. Its Graphite color camouflages accidents well, and its cotton, linen, and polyester blend upholstery is easy to spot clean. Large back cushions leave plenty of space for the family to sprawl out.
The Movie Night™ Modular Sectionals are great for spills due to the LiveSmart stain resistant fabric. The cushion covers are removable and can be dry cleaned as well.
Look for the feature “reversible cushions.” Many of our sofas have this great feature. Along with being removable, cushions that can be flipped are great for hiding stains, as well as for the longevity of your sofa.
Our furniture is rated for everyday residential use, and is designed to be well-loved and to last. Of course, when it comes to children and pets, mishaps can happen. Think of them as happy accidents! Spills, stains, and markings simply add to the character of our pieces. Over time, your furniture will patina gorgeously and become truly, uniquely yours.
